In our society, we think that the reason why we have diseases is due to our sin. We think that when we sin against god and do not want to do the will of God, we are going to be punished with sickness.
In this study, we are going to show you that the reason why we have diseases is the lack of good health. We are going to show you that we can get good health if we really want it.
But before we get into the topic of god and diseases, let us first look at the fact that we have diseases in our society.
What are diseases?
Diseases are conditions that happen when there is abnormal growth in the body. When we say abnormal growth, what we mean is that there is an increase in the size of the cells.
For example, cancer is a disease that happens when the cells in the body multiply and form a mass. This mass is called a tumor.
There are other diseases that cause abnormal growth in the body. These include:
- Heart disease
- Kidney disease
- Liver disease
These are just some of the diseases that happen when there is abnormal growth.
In the Bible we find that God can give us good health and diseases.
What does the Bible say about getting good health?
In the Bible, we find a lot of references to diseases.
The Bible has a lot of things to say about getting good health. Let us look at some of these things so that we can understand the truth of diseases.
The Bible talks about the life of Jesus in Nazareth
In the Bible, we find references to Jesus’ life in Nazareth.
One of the references is in Matthew 2:23.
In this verse, we find that Jesus was living in Nazareth.
This verse tells us that Jesus was not in a wealthy family. He was not born into a wealthy family.
However, he grew up in a wealthy family. This is interesting because the Bible says that his father was a carpenter.
His father was a carpenter, and he was going to be a carpenter.
The Bible talks about how the people in his family wanted him to be a carpenter.
This is interesting because the Bible says in Matthew 13:58
“And if your brother, or your sisters, or your mother, or you, is distressed, you should help them.”
This is a command to help those in need.
This is interesting because the Bible says in Matthew 25:31
“For I tell you that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see what things you see, and have not seen it.”
This is interesting because the Bible says in Luke 11:37
“And he said to them, ‘If you can believe, all can enter the kingdom of heaven.’ They said to him, ‘We can’t but believe, Lord.'”
The Bible says that Jesus had many people around him who wanted to see what he saw. However, they could not see it. This is interesting in light of the fact that the Bible says in Luke 8:48
“And Jesus said to them, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you will be my disciples. If you build my Church, you will be my disciples.'”
In this verse, we find that Jesus tells people that if they hold to his teaching, they will be his disciples. In other words, Jesus tells them that if they believe in him, they will be able to see his miracles.
The Bible talks about Jesus healing people
A number of times in the Bible, Jesus healed people.
Let us look at a few of these passages.
In Mark 2:18
“And he began to teach, and said to them, ‘Beware of the scribes. They will no longer tell you what to do, but will question and argue to find out if you are in the faith.'”
In Luke 9:18
“Then he looked up and said to his disciples, ‘If anyone will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.'”
In Matthew 10:8
“And he said to them, ‘When you have dined, take whatever belongs to you, and eat it with a good will.'”
In Luke 14:15
“Jesus said to her, ‘Your son is a good child, but you did not pay attention to the things that I said to you. Therefore you are going to carry his sins with you always.'”
In Matthew 8:58
“And the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit, and said, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'”
In Romans 8:22
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
In John 14:12
“I pray that you may ask for whatever you want, and it will be given to you; and when you ask, you will receive, for you are the very ones who do the same to them.”
In 1 Corinthians 6:9
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
In James 1:12
“But the man of God, the Spirit, is living in you: and if anyone else is in you, the same Spirit also lives in him.”
In 1 Corinthians 15:58
“But we know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.”
In 1 Corinthians 15:42
“Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For like the other building, so is He our building. For we know that if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell [hell being the place of punishment], still His voice would still decree judgment.”
In 2 Corinthians 4:16
“And he said to them, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Most certainly, I say to you, he who lacks a thorn [forgiveness] has not any perfect thing of the Spirit.”
In 1 John 3:21
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
In Philippians 4:67
“For you did not receive a spirit of slavery but rather an spirit of adoption by the will of God.”
In James 1:22
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and hermhast led us before in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
In 1 Peter 1:23
“To the end that we may spur one another on to love and good works, 2To love one another deeply and to care for one another, 3because this is how we are pleasing to God.”
In James 5:16
This is a good time to point out that the Bible says that Jesus healed people many times. Furthermore, Jesus said that the miracles that he performed were done for the purpose of showing people that he was the Messiah.
If people are able to see Jesus’ miracles, then they will be able to see what he was doing.
